Sage Advice Contest Winners Posted: 9-29-2008
SO, we have listened many times to all of the submissions. There are some real standouts but our general consensus is that nearly all of them exhibit a good, fresh takes on the track and don't sound like our version. We gave some people a few bonus points in some areas and docked them in others, if say the one we thought was most creative wasn't also the best produced. Judging turned out to be tougher than we thought because all of them have points we consider worth rewarding. So since having more variety can only help create exposure for all parties involved, we decided to go with a bigger release than originally planned.
